Marjorie Mae Park . 701 Marjorie Mae St, State College, PA 16803 . Patton Township
Marjorie Mae Park is a nearly 5 acre open space with a playground, covered picnic table, cul du sac street parking and a bike path. The park is nearly full sun due to the smaller size trees, but as these trees grow over the years, they will provide nice shade for the playground. There is no toilet and no drinking fountain. This is a good park option if you're in the neighborhood and want to take the kids somewhere new for a short time. The bike path is straight and long, so could be a good spot to practice bike riding or scooter.

Suburban Park . 101 Suburban Ave, State College, PA 16803 . Ferguson Township
Suburban Park is off Aaron Drive behind shops on Atherton and Vairo Boulevard and has a dedicated parking lot with space for approximately 20 cars and one handicap space. The playground is not visible from the parking lot, but is a short walk along the paved bike path past the tennis courts and baseball field.
The playground has 2 play structures, 2 bucket swings, 2 regular swings and a bridge to cross a small ditch to access a large slide and 4 swings. The playground area is semi shaded and has one pavilion, several benches, and a portable toilet and a water fountain adjacent to tennis courts. The day I visited (9/3/15) the water fountain was not working.
In addition to the CRPR Parks website, Ferguson Township maintains a website dedicated to information about parks in the township. It's a great, additional resource. Please visit the Township's Suburban Park page for more images and information.

Pets at the Parks . Can I bring my dog?
If you would like to bring your dog, or pet, to a local park, please visit General Park Rules for more information about which parks allow pets and any associated restrictions. If pets are allowed at an area park, they must always be on a leash, except for Tudek Dog Park, located at 425 Park Crest Lane in State College.
